More X-Factor Auditions For Cornwall

Could you be the next Matt Terry, Louisa Johnson or Olly Murs? Is your group as good as Little Mix?

Well now there are more chances to audition for the X-Factor in Cornwall.

Pirate FM told you try-outs are being held at the Lighthouse Cinema in Newquay next month.

Now the Poly in Falmouth has revealed it will be running auditions on the 5th February too.

The show, fronted by Simon Cowell, is on the lookout for the next big breakout music stars as they travel the length and breadth of the country on the 2017 audition tour.

The team will be searching high and low, bringing the auditions directly to you in their hunt for singing sensations.

The X Factor team will be at The Poly in Falmouth on 5th February 2017 this year and says if you think you have got the talent to impress and entertain, now is the time to show them what you have got.

Successful acts will then be in with a chance of securing a place at one of the judges' auditions in 2017.

It follows auditions in Truro and Newquay in 2016.

Are Brooks Way bouncing back from their X Factor axing with a Simon Cowell record deal?

They were unceremoniously axed from The X Factor but Welsh duo Brooks Way could be making a comeback via a record deal with Simon Cowell’s label.
Twins Josh and Kyle Brooks left the ITV singing competition in September ‘by mutual agreement’ after it was alleged Josh sent abusive texts to an ex-girlfriend, a claim he strongly denied.

While Four Of Diamonds took their spot in the 2016 competition, it looks like things are now coming up clubs and spades for the 17-year-olds, with reports Brooks Way are in early ‘meetings’ with label execs at Syco.
‘Josh and Kyle visited the Sony offices last week for some meetings and to meet execs,’ a source told The Sun.

‘It’s very early days but potentially very exciting. The meetings seemed to go well – but the boys are keeping their feet on the ground.’
The lads have also reportedly done ‘a lot of growing up’ since leaving The X Factor, working on their music with producers and songwriters, while also performing at a number of small gigs.

X Factor's Honey G plans to bounce back from flop single with Missy Elliott duet

X Factor's Honey G is hoping to duet with Missy Elliott for her new single.

Last year's X Factor hopeful released her debut track last month, but it's fair to say it didn't set the charts alight.

The Honey G show made a tragic debut at Number 149 in the official charts.

In terms of past X Factor acts, it's a result that's pretty much off the scale.

Brother and sister duo Same Difference managed Number 100 with their song Shine On Forever while 2007 champ Leon Jackson enjoyed a relatively respectable Number 94 placing with Creative, two better than Eoghan Quigg who was Number 96 with his song 28,000 Friends in 2009.

However Honey G isn't one to give up.

Dannii Minogue talks about sister Kylie, Botox and why she doesn’t speak to Simon Cowell

DANNII Minogue has spoken about a perceived rivalry with sister Kylie, how she had Botox injections when she felt sad and why she doesn’t speak to Simon Cowell.
Minogue has returned to UK TV on the judges panel for Let it Shine.
She has revealed that she resorted to Botox to hide her inner sadness during her crisis years.
“I don’t think I’m the only woman to use Botox that way, except a lot of times I think it might be a subconscious thing — that you don’t want people to see how you really feel,” she said. “But I’m genuinely happy now.”

Dannii Minogue hasn't spoken to Cowell in six years

Dannii Minogue may be back judging talent on British TV but she hasn't spoken to X Factor boss Simon Cowell since she left the show in 2010.

Now part of the BBC's Let It Shine lineup, the Australian star had spent the last few years back in her native country, performing similar televisual duties.

There were rumours of a fling between Minogue and Cowell during her spell at The X Factor between 2006 and 2010, when they were both judges on the talent contest.

Speaking to The Sun, Minogue revealed that she hasn't spoken to Cowell since she left the show over six years ago.

"I haven't spoken to him and I have no idea what he's said about the show," she said. "I have had zero contact with X Factor since I left. I haven't seen it."

Dannii Minogue opens up about illness, X Factor and Simon Cowell

Singer Dannii Minogue has opened up about her struggles with her health and her love life before she made her reality TV comeback on Let It Shine at the weekend.

Joining Gary Barlow on the panel to find a cast for a new musical, her return to the screen followed a six-year break that saw her become a mother, while dealing with a serious health-scare and the aftermath of her relationship with Simon Cowell.

In an interview with The Sun, the Australian performer, 45, spoke about how she moved back to her home town in Melbourne in 2011 after a four-year stint as a judge on the X Factor, which led to reports of a secret affair with Cowell.

“I haven’t spoken to him and I have no idea what he’s said about the show,” she told the paper, “I have had zero contact with X Factor since I left.”
